Return of the represented
assume that the art created at the end of the 50s 60s 70s 80s at the end of the war at the end of the world - an art about the end of the world - is the fruit of a dystopia where the world boils and explodes
Pop art condemned it (the dystopia) Rauschenberg, but the conceptualists pursued it, an art about the end of the idea of thinking and of meaning
when the nonsense of art occurs, it is also the world that explodes into lost meaning
It is this art that I reject - not as art, I take it - but as meaning and as the future of this meaning, it is this empty art or art of empty-ing or avoiding meaning that heralds a world with no limitation and no escape
And today dies in front of our eyes
As surprised as in front of Rothko

supposons que l’art à la fin des années 50 60 70 80 à la fin de la guerre à la fin du monde - art du bout du monde - est le fruit d'une dystopie où le monde boue et eclate
le pop art le dénonce (Rauschenberg), mais les conceptualistes le poursuivent, un art du bout de l'idée de la pensée et du sens
quand le non-sens de l'art advient, c'est aussi le monde qui éclate, au sens perdu
c'est cet art que je rejette non en tant qu’art, je le prends, mais en tant que sens et futur du sens, c'est cet art vide ou art de l'evidement et l'evitement du sens qui nous annonce un monde sans bout, sans issue
et aujourd'hui meurt devant nos yeux
aussi surpris que devant rothko

Kidnappant tout le futur du sens de l’art
Il n’y a rien après la surprise

Minimalisme : tu abandonnes
C’est absurde, tu veux contrer mais il n’y a rien à débattre
Tout est absurde : ça dépend de l’échelle

L’échelle à laquelle nous nous tuons nous-mêmes


Des décisions cannibales semblaient logiques mais non
Fin du monde n’est pas sans signification
